The environment and staffing levels allow for the learning and enhancement of skills to allow the individual to participate within the community to their maximum potential. A large component of the program is to utilise the generic facilities available within Stawell and surrounding areas. A great emphasis is given to positive interaction with the wider community and full participation is encouraged.

Ph 03 53581364 Greenfingers is a pre-vocational program that provides skill development in the areas of plant propagation, plant care, retail sales, customer relations, maintenance, record keeping and woodworking. Greenfingers is basically wholesale propagation of indigenous trees for re-vegetation, farm forestry and farm tree markets and some contact carpentry work. Rural Options 142 Commercial Road, Stawell. Ph 03 53585122 Rural Options is set on twenty acres on the outskirts of Stawell. The major focus of this program is to introduce a variety of activities and exercise to keep both the mind and body active. Our aim is to introduce structure by giving support, stability and routine to the consumers who attend. Rural Options is also based around having fun, which shows in both the consumers and the staff.
Endeavour Program 6-8 Frayne Street, Stawell. Ph 03 53583421 Intertwine’s Endeavour program is for people with high needs, older persons and those with passive needs and interests. Activities focus on the maintenance of health and wellbeing and include physiotherapy exercises, sensory activities, personal grooming, music and helping out with Meals on Wheels and Home Library.
Shop Skills & Rare Opportunity Op Shop 165 Main Street, Stawell. Ph 03 53585614 The Shop Skills program prepares donated clothing and other items for sale through Intertwine’s Op Shop. Clothing unsuitable for resale is cut up and sold as rags to local businesses. Rare Opportunity Op Shop sells quality, low cost pre-loved garments, bric-a-brac, fabric and household items. All garments are laundered, pressed and repaired where necessary. |
