Speak Up Project

The term “Speak Up” says it all, imagine not being able to articulate your wants and needs, especially in areas of your life that impact the greatest. This project aims to empower people through communication. There are unlimited means available to help people to achieve some form of communication, we aim to find the means best suited to individuals, make it available to that person and teach them how it use it. The Speak Up project has arranged a collection of resources that are available to the public at the Stawell Library.

Flexible Respite

For children or adults and their families/carers - in-house, short holidays, day trips, etc.

Kids Club

Children’s activity group, currently held on Wednesday nights for two hours. Intertwine also conducts children’s respite camps a couple of times a year during school holidays.

Grampians Disability Cricket

Each year Intertwine staff help the Stawell team prepare and participate in Disability Cricket matches. Teams from all over the region participate in an annual event, Ararat and Stawell have a limited over match and selected individuals take part in a Victorian round-robin event.
