RAG SALES

 

Intertwine’s supported employees conduct a rag sales business for customers in the Stawell district.  Bags of clean, cut rags are delivered to local customers fortnightly and on request.

or phone 53585614 to order bags of rags.

 

Our supported employees sort clothes and fabrics that are not suitable for resale at our “Rare Opportunity” Op Shop, remove buttons, studs and zips and then cut articles into the required size.  Cut rags are then sorted into grades and placed into recycled plastic bags, tagged and stored ready for sale.  The two grades of rags sold are cotton and a windcheater mixed blend.  We can accommodate customers that require special orders at a small extra charge depending on their requirements.

 

Employees and a staff member deliver the bags of rags, giving employees responsibility and ownership of their business.  They are also assisting to educate the community about Intertwine and people that have a disability by running a successful business.
